THE FILM:
THE PRESTIGE
2006, PG-13, 2 hr 10 min, Directed by Christopher Nolan
An illusion gone horribly wrong pits two 19th-century magicians, Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) and Rupert Angier (Hugh Jackman), against each other in a bitter battle for supremacy. `Terrible consequences loom when the pair escalate their feud, each seeking not just to outwit -- but to destroy -- the other man.

THE FUN:
Anthem & Aria (The Psychic Soulmates) & James Lopez (A Most Modern Magician)
Before the film begins, Denver audiences will experience an unforgettable live performance from Anthem & Aria — the award-winning husband-and-wife mentalist duo known as The Psychic Soulmates. Seen on America’s Got Talent, featured on Hulu, and twice named APCA Mentalists of the Year, Anthem & Aria blend mind-reading, psychological illusion, comedy, and impossible audience interaction into a live experience that feels intimate, cinematic, and genuinely astonishing. Prepare to witness secrets, mystery, and moments that will leave you asking the same question all night… how did they know?
James Lopez is a Denver based magician who has been working all over the nation for 15 years. He performs close-up magic for corporate clients including T-Mobile, Atlas Real Estate, KPMG, and The Denver Film Festival, among others. James was the magician in Residence at both Invisible City and Holey Moley in Denver and ran a variety of live shows including Strange Brews, Denver's premiere magic and libations show. He has performed at The World-Famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles and at The Duplex Cabaret in New York where Barbara Streisand got her start.
