Art for the Soul of Black Folx
The International Association of Blacks In Dance (IABD) and Cleo Parker Robinson Dance are hosting a panel discussion titled “Art For The Soul of Black Folx” as part of IABD’s national campaign “Black is American Art.”. Moderated by Nijeul X, join panelists Maud Arnold, Amber Iman, Terrance McKnight and BMike for an in-depth conversation on the value of Black art as the foundation of the American cultural landscape.
Representing dance, music, theater, and visual art, they’ll reflect on the power of art to illustrate our stories and histories, reaching across mediums, genres, venues, and communities.
