Description
Celebrate the Mexican holiday Día de Muertos with the Colorado Symphony in a festive, family-friendly concert filled with music, storytelling, and color. Featuring a narrated story, vocal performances, and a costume contest, this celebration invites audiences of all ages to explore how we remember and honor loved ones through music. From spooky-fun favorites like The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Addams Family to beloved selections from Coco, and Márquez’s electrifying Danzón No. 2, this joyful program brings remembrance to life through sound.
Family Series concerts are specifically curated for families with young children. These programs are shorter than typical symphony performances, and last 60-90 minutes including intermission.
Join us for HalfNotes, a fun and family-friendly activity prior to the performance.
