Sacred Spaces? is the second phase in a two-part project funded in large part by the Ford Foundation and SCFD. Sacred Spaces? features original music by Adonis Rose. Music will be performed by members of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and danced by the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble.
The concept of "sacred" encompasses myriad elements of culture, emotion, and spirit and this concert seeks to shine new light on important stories including the arson fires that destroyed three Black churches in Opelousas, LA in 2019.
