The Arts Complex offers a variety of food and drink choices on campus as well as in the immediate surrounding area. From casual grab 'n go to upscale fine dining and a new lively hangout, you’re sure to find great options for pre-show, intermission, and post-show dining.

Prelude + Post

Located across from the Buell Theatre, Prelude + Post offers an upscale casual neighborhood vibe for theater attendees and downtown diners alike for dinner and drinks pre- and post-show. Prelude + Post focuses on shared plates for an upbeat social dining experience with an emphasis on Colorado fresh sustainable ingredients; many seasonally harvested from the Blue Bear Farm located next door at the Colorado Convention Center. Make a reservation or find a spot at the bar or patio.

Pro Tip: Grab drinks at Prelude + Post and bring them right to your seats in Boettcher Concert Hall, Buell Theatre or Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House

Located in the Chambers Grant Salon in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House serves pre-theater cocktails and dinner on select evenings when performances are in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Buell Theatre and/or Boettcher Concert Hall.

Hours of Operation: Select evenings when performances are in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Buell Theatre and/or Boettcher Concert Hall and prior to all evening Opera Colorado performances.

Dazzle

At the corner of 14th and Arapahoe Streets, Dazzle offers an upscale Bar with appetizers, small plates & desserts. Jazz, Blues and more are offered in their ticketed "listening room" but you can stop by the El Chapultepec Piano Lounge before or after any Arts Complex show for a quick drink or snack with no cover charge.

Pro Tip: Dazzle is a great place to grab a drink or a bite after a show - or extend the evening with another performance!
Hours of Operation: Open 3pm-9pm Monday & Wednesday (closed most Tuesdays), 3pm-11pm Thursday, 3pm-12:30am Friday, 11am-12:30am Saturday, (kitchen open until midnight Friday & Saturday nights), 10am-8pm Sunday. 10am Happy Hour 3pm-6pm weeknights.
