Mayor Hickenlooper and Greenprint Denver are urging Denver residents and businesses to help make Earth Hour a success by switching off their lights and non-essential appliances for one hour this Saturday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. local time.

New Symphony Center Approved
With the City and County of Denver’s Elections Division reporting evident victories for ballot issues A through I, including the passage of issues 1-G and 1-H, Denver’s Division of Theatres & Arenas is thrilled to confirm that a new symphony center will be constructed on the Boettcher Concert Hall site at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The passage of ballot issues 1-G and 1-H, indicated by decisive 55% and 52% margins of victory respectively, will provide $60.7 million.
