USA PRO CYCLING CHALLENGE WILL AFFECT TRAFFIC AND PARKING SUNDAY, AUGUST 26
Friday, August 24, 2012

Ticket holders to Denver Performing Arts Complex shows should be advised that the USA Pro Cycling Challenge making its way through cities in Colorado this week may impact your visit to our theatres.

Additionally, there is a home Broncos game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Sunday afternoon that will impact traffic through downtown.

We recommend that you take extra time, arrive early and plan ahead to ensure that you don't miss a moment of your scheduled performance.

Speer Blvd. will be closed on Sunday, August 26, from 10am to 4pm to all traffic -- motor vehicle, pedestrian and all but the race participant bicycles.
•    You will not be able to cross Speer Blvd.
•    Light rail will not be operating in the Central Downtown area during the closures but RTD will have special bus routes in place for that day. Visit RTD for routes and service schedules.

Recommended alternate routes:
•    From I-25 South: Take 20th St. Exit #212C. Turn right on 20th St. Turn right on Arapahoe to 14th.
•    From I-25 North: Take Park Avenue Exit #213 (Coors Field exit). Follow Park Avenue left. Park Avenue becomes 22nd St. Turn right on Arapahoe to 14th.
•    From the East: Take Colorado Blvd. to Martin Luther King Blvd. Take Martin Luther King Blvd into downtown where it becomes Champa Street. Continue on Champa to parking facilities around the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
There will be police presence and signage to assist with traffic and parking.  For planning purposes, visit the parking resource at the Denver Performing Arts Complex website or use other, outlying parking lots.
