Blow Up explores and pushes the boundaries of photography with their unique perspectives on the world. The technique of focusing and capturing light on photographic film, glass plate or other medium, and then exposing an image through chemical process, is still being practiced by many artists. Through the use of analog cameras, the artists featured in Blow Up expose underlying stories of their subjects.
This is an ongoing series of special exhibitions at the Crossroads Theater, featuring the work of metro Denver area artists. The exhibitions are curated by Arts and Venues Denver’s Public Art Administrator, Rudi Cerri.
