Accessible Parking at Red Rocks
Tuesday, April 19, 2011

Red Rocks Amphitheatre provides accessible parking for concert goers at both the Top Circle Lot (Row 70) and Upper South Lot (Row 1).We want to be sure that these spaces are kept available to those who need them and not used by those who have simply “borrowed” the vehicle or hangtag. The following policy, which is used at Invesco Field and at many other venues, is now in place at Red Rocks:

In order to park in accessible parking at Red Rocks, the driver must present:
• A Handicap Parking hangtag or Handicap Parking vehicle license plate with a current expiration date. Please note that these tags are issued to a person, not to the vehicle.
• A registration listing to the Handicap Parking hangtag or Handicap Parking vehicle license plate.
• The person that is listed on the registration must be with the vehicle.
• The person that is listed on the registration must have a picture identification.

Those persons without the proper documents may be refused Accessible Parking. Patrons with mobility impairment that do not have handicap plates or tags are still allowed to be dropped off at the handicap lots for access to the accessibility shuttle and ADA ramps.

If you need assistance with obtaining the appropriate tags mentioned above, you may contact Dale Coski in the Denver Office of Human Rights and Community Relations at 720 913-8482.

Additional information on which lot is best for handicap access is found the the "ACCESS FOR THE DISABLED" link at the bottom of this page.
